Cellulite Clinical Treatments If you have cellulite and tried to get the stamp of your body using conventional methods (diet and active lifestyle, creams and lotions, etc.), but it's just not working for you, you may be looking in greater steps to do so. As the obsession with how our bodies look has grown over the years, so have the action we take to achieve happiness we want. This research cellulite "cure" has caused many new forms of treatment to come to light in recent years, including liposuction and laser treatments. If you do a quick search of the internet you will find that many of these procedures claim to be a quick solution for your cellulite problems, but is that really the case? As with most things that seem too good to be true, it may be just that.

It is important to note before continuing because these techniques are still relatively new, there is limited understanding of the long-term effects they can have on your body. Furthermore, even if they work the way you want, they can not be the permanent solution you seek. As we delve into a couple of these treatments, it is imperative to take into account the positive and negative aspects of each procedure to see if it is something you may be interested.

The first method we'll take a look is one that has been around for a while, liposuction. This procedure melted fat deep under the skin which is then evacuated by a vacuum. Liposuction is a process that was invented, perhaps much sooner than you thought, in the 1960s, however, the early forms of which resulted largely erratic results with high levels of bleeding and scars. A newer form was introduced in the 1980s which have significantly improved the process and liposuction has improved since. In fact, liposuction is now the procedure of the most commonly performed plastic surgery. Since this procedure does have positive results in the elimination of fat, it should be useful to relieve cellulite, right? This may not be the case.

Although liposuction has been around for many years, the use of liposuction in order to remove cellulite is something that has recently emerged. Although there is zero evidence that liposuction can help to eliminate cellulite, a lot more disappointing development was done. Liposuction may cellulite appear much worse than initially did. Liposuction is designed to remove deep fat tissue, but that is not where the factors that cause cellulite resident. Cellulite is in the hypodermis, which is more shallow than the case of liposuction attacks. In fact, to eliminate hypoderme, you must also remove visible skin associated with it.

The elimination of cellulite, as such, can not therefore occur. Instead of what can be used is a process called SmartLipo, which is the inclusion of a dedicated laser to help tighten and smooth the skin while liposuction is conducted. This is the extent to which liposuction can be a help to "remove" cellulite. Unfortunately, even this is not a guaranteed process removing liposuction fat can cause more cavernous indentations in the skin, causing the appearance of cellulite worse existing currently. Even if you do not have cellulite, liposuction can cause indentations similar to that of cellulite.

Dr. Richard P. Rand has this to say about cellulite and liposuction, "Although many efforts have been devoted to the development of techniques to get rid of cellulite, no n has been effective to a significant degree or coherent. what we usually try to do is not to create cellulite when it is not already there and not make things worse when he is there. "the thing the most important to do if you are considering liposuction is to seek advice from a plastic surgeon who has a good reputation. Often, surgeries are performed by those who lack appropriate references and the results can be devastating.

Another method that has been attracting attention in recent years is laser removal of cellulite. This is an alternative that many people gravitate towards as it is non-invasive and painless. Laser treatment has been used very successfully to eliminate acne, hair, tattoos and wrinkles, but its use for cellulite removal is still a new revelation. There is one thing you should know about laser hair removal of cellulite well; it does not work.

There is absolutely no empirical evidence exists for the use of lasers that works to eliminate cellulite. In theory, it is impossible (unless you want to suffer lasting effects). There are two types of lasers used for the treatment of human skin, non-ablative (low level) and ablative lasers (high) lasers.

Low level lasers are used to treat acne and tattoos as they work on the most superficial layers of the skin. Cellulite, however, lies in the sub-dermis of the skin; the deepest layer of the skin. These low-level lasers simply do not contain the strength to reach these layers and therefore have no effect on cellulite whatsoever.

High-level lasers on the other hand are very, very strong. In fact, they are too strong. While lasers are strong enough to reach the subcutaneous tissue where cellulite is found, it can be done without damaging the layers of the skin above the hypodermis. Technically, the use of these lasers could, if you could stand the immense pain it involved, help "melt" the pieces of fat causing cellulite but melted fat has nowhere to go, to be reabsorbed the surrounding cells, causing no effect on the appearance of your question. Because of this, and damage to the skin tissue would cause, experts will not even think about using high-level lasers for this purpose.

Laser therapy also has insanely expensive costs reaching $ 1,800 for the 10 -15 treatments that you would have to attend to see your "results." There is no solution in a single step for cellulite and these processes are no exception. In fact, these procedures are not corrections at all. Although these methods have their applications for other afflictions, cellulite is not one of them. If you still want to know more about these methods, take the time to seek help from a professional with a reputable background because they are not decisions taken lightly.
