What is cellulite?

Cellulite is a well-known condition, although many people know simply as bumpy, wrinkled or dimpled skin. However, what cellulite is, is much more complex than that and the physiology of that is something that must be understood before we can fight. Although cellulite is a purely superficial disease, it is one that many feel should be attached to improving the quality of life. So what is cellulite? More importantly, how can you use your knowledge about the causes of cellulite and to remove the potential impact this will have on your life?

Cellulite is known medically as adipose edematosa, dermopanniculosis deforming, state protrusus cutis and gynoid lipodystrophy. However, you may have heard called by other names, orange peel syndrome, the mattress phenomenon and specifically cellulite. While it is possible for anyone to have cellulite (in fact, some professionals claim up to 95% of people have cellulite somewhere) it in women is much more common, especially in women after puberty. It has been hypothesized that cellulite appears or appear in about 85% of women after puberty.

Cellulite effects many people, about 85% of women after puberty you have read above, although it may be of some surprise to you because you have not seen his appearance in the real world that much. This can be attributed to the different types and qualities of cellulite. Dermatologist Dr. Ariel Haus, an expert on the subject of cellulite, claimed that there are in fact different types and qualities of cellulite. The different types of cellulite are:
Adipose cellulite - farm cellulite with orange peel effect on loose skin
edema cellulite - cellulite caused by water retention that results from soft cellulite on loose skin
fibrotic cellulite - hard, compact cellulite with orange peel effect. This differs from adipose cellulite in that it occurs on the skin that does not let

Although you can have one, or several, of these types of cellulite (and the state of percentages you !'re probably), you may want to take note of the following scale that grades the level of cellulite affliction, also provided by Dr. Haus:
grade 1 : cellulite is not visible, even when the skin is pinched
2 grade: cellulite is not visible when standing or lying, but can be seen when the skin is
pinched
3 grade: cellulite is visible when standing, but perhaps not when lying
4 grade: cellulite is visible in the standing of lying position

the cause of cellulite is quite simple, however, the more you delve into it the more confusing it can get. In other words, cellulite is the cause of collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath the skin. This makes one thing; too much fat on the body of a person causes cellulite. However, this is also what makes cellulite a confusing subject for many. We saw outliers, people
are actually very thin, who are afflicted by cellulite. We also know that some people may be predisposed to get cellulite.

The realization of cellulite can be caused by many factors, most of which are controllable by a healthy diet and active lifestyle. However, there is also the risk factors which are not avoidable due to genetics. the susceptibility of a person is strongly influenced by sex and race, more if your family has a case of cellulite affliction. If you have these risk factors, it does not mean that you are destined to have a good cellulite. A simple predisposition to this condition does not mean that you will eventually succumb to have cellulite however; we'll get to in a bit. First, we will explore the reasons why cellulite occurs, particularly among women.

distribution of fat in men and women One of the reasons why cellulite is more common in women is because of the fundamental differences in the structure of men and women. For example, men have a much thicker skin than women. To be clear, the epidermis is the upper part of the layer of the skin, the layer which is visible to the naked eye. Because of this thicker epidermis, men are much more resistant to structural changes in the skin. However, women have a much thinner skin that leaves their skin sensitive to structural changes, such as dimpling.

Moreover, how fat cells are structured under the skin have a massive impact on why women are more susceptible to cellulite. The fat cells that sit under the skin of men are compact and intertwined. This means that when men add to their fat, the fat tends to create a singular mass of fat, which can grow proportionately. Women have fat cells that strictly lay side by side, however. This contributes to cellulite because when their fat content is increased, it is forced to extend vertically. As fat grows vertically, it grows on the skin and creates bumps, also known as cellulite

cellulite and squats The reason why a predisposition to cellulite does not mean that you will get is the following :. Cellulite can also be attributed to the muscles under your fat. If you do not keep your muscles in good shape, you increase the risk of cellulite. Indeed, if you are unconditioned muscles, it causes the fat on top of them to pucker and dimple because he is not held flat. Alternatively, the muscles are conditioned and tonic will push against the layer of fat and skin above them. This pulls the fat and skin tight, to effectively stop cellulite from occurring. unconditioned muscles may be one reason why people, particularly those who have little body fat have cellulite. In addition, lowering your body fat decreases the amount of fat that can be pushed to the surface, which reduces the likelihood of cellulite.

Cellulite is not an incurable disease. In fact, it is very treatable, even preventable. You should not use the drastic measures you may have heard of some people who take part. As you have read, most people, especially women, have cellulite. However, it may not appear as such because they have taken steps to ensure that they are less likely to get cellulite. If you have cellulite, you have options. From reading the above, one thing must be clear: although the effects of cellulite many people, it's not something that you are destined to live with
